Shirley Botterill Passes

Trot Insider has learned that longtime Ontario Jockey Club employee Shirley Botterill, wife of current Mohawk Racetrack qualifier paddock judge Alex Botterill, passed away Wednesday, September 9 at a Mississauga, Ont. nursing home after a valiant fight with an extended illness

Shirley, who was 74 at the time of her passing, was a resident of Carlisle, Ont.

She worked in the OJC race office, and also spent a good deal of time working as a switchboard operator and reservations representative.
