Imprincessgemma A’s 58-1 upset from post eight in Thursday night’s featured $40,000 Fillies and Mares Preferred Handicap Pace was the catalyst to both the Pick 5 and Pick 6 going unsolved at Yonkers Raceway.
As a result of neither wager being hit, there will be a $4,442.52 carryover and a $15,000 guaranteed pool in the Pick 5 on Friday night’s (August 27) program at Yonkers, and the Pick 6 will have a carryover of $2,965,47.
The guarantee in the Pick 5 is being offered as part of the United States Trotting Association’s Strategic Wagering Program. The Pick 5, which begins in race five, and the Pick 6, which starts in race three, both have takeout rates of 20 percent.
Yonkers Raceway’s 12-race card on Friday night gets underway at 7:15 p.m.
