Mohawk Non-Wagering Races On HPItv Tonight

Mohawk Racetrack was forced to cancel its Saturday card after just two races this past weekend due to a power outage in the area

Due to the cancellation of the card, it was announced that the remaining stakes races which were scheduled for Saturday will be contested today as non-wagering events. The races will be contested before Mohawk's scheduled pari-mutuel card, which will get underway with a first-race post time of 7:20 p.m.

The entries for the non-wagering events can be viewed here. The first dash on the four-race card will head to post at 6:00 p.m. The mini, non-wagering card will feature a pair of $100,000 Eternal Camnation Stakes for two-year-old pacing fillies and two $107,000 splits of the Nassagaweya Stakes for two-year-old pacers.

Trot Insider has learned that the non-wagering races will be broadcast on HPItv beginning at 6:00 p.m.
