Congratulations to the 86 players who will move on to the third round of the Ontario Sires Stakes Survivor Challenge.
The third round will feature Race 8 at Rideau Carleton Raceway on Thursday, July 11 --- a $70,000 OSS Gold event for two-year-old pacing fillies. All 'surviving' players will be sent an email today with a link to the entry form for Thursday’s race. You must enter by 5:00 p.m. (EST) on Thursday.
One hundred and sixty-four Fan Club Members signed up for the OSS Survivor Challenge and 96 players survived Round 1, which was Race 9 at Mohawk Racetrack on Friday, July 5, an OSS Gold event for two-year-old trotting fillies.
Eighty-six players successfully selected a top-three finisher in the second round, which was Race 6 at Kawartha Downs on July 6, an OSS Grassroots event for two-year-old trotting fillies. Now those players move on to the third round.
All players that correctly select a top-three finisher in the third round will advance to the fourth round on Monday, July 15 and can expect an email on Friday, July 12.
This will continue for the duration of the contest, so it’s important for players to stay updated with the contest as selections will be required each week from players who stay 'alive' and move on to the next round.
The winning player will receive a tote bag with $50 worth of 'I Love Canadian Harness Racing' swag and $50 in OSS swag.
