It’s shaping up to be another busy week of Atlantic Sires Stakes racing action, as both trotters and pacers meet for competition during Atlantic Grand Circuit Week at Truro Raceway.
Tuesday evening the 13-dash card will be dominated by 11 ATSS events. The two-year-old trotters will race in three divisions for $5,260 each, and the three-year-old trotters will race in two for $7,100. Meanwhile, the two-year-old pacing fillies will meet in four ‘A’ divisions and two ‘B’ divisions. First-race post time on Tuesday evening is 7:00 p.m.
On Thursday evening, the two-year-old pacing colts will show what they’re made of when three A divisions each go to post for a purse pool of $7,020 and three B divisions round out the race card.
Atlantic Sires Stakes Grand Circuit Week events will wrap up on Saturday when the three-year-old pacing colts meet at the Truro oval.
Points earned in each trotting event and all A pacing events go towards earning a coveted spot in the season-ending Atlantic Breeders Crown Championship.
