Girls’ Night Out Pacing Series Returns

The Girls’ Night Out Pacing Series will be returning to Mohawk Racetrack’s summer stakes schedule for its second season.

Girls’ Night Out, which consists of two preliminary legs and a final, is for older pacing mares that are non-winners of $30,000 in 2013 as of midnight June 30, with a minimum of five starts this year. Winners of over $100,000 in 2012 are ineligible.

The $18,000 first leg will be contested on Friday, July 26 with the $18,000 second leg taking place one week later on August 2. Twelve horses with the highest point earnings in the series will advance to the $40,000 (added) final on Friday, August 9.

To nominate a mare to this series, a fee of $100 will be accepted until Monday, July 15.
