This Sunday all eyes will be on Clinton Raceway as it plays host to its 10th biennial Legends Day event.
Since its inception in 2001 the signature event, featuring Hall of Fame drivers, has helped raise over $210,000 for the Clinton Public Hospital Foundation. In 2015, the rural Ontario oval introduced an online auction as part of the fundraising initiatives.
The addition bolstered the total funds raised, and was a great lead up to the event itself. This year’s auction is now live at www.legendsdayauction.com and guests can easily register (Sign Up tab on the top right navigation) with an email address to partake in the bidding.
Items include sports memorabilia, event tickets, getaways and more. Bidding will be closing on Friday, June 21 at 7:00 p.m. and stagger through 9:30 p.m. Items can be picked up at the event in Clinton on Sunday, June 21 and credit, debit, cash and cheque are all accepted forms of payment for this year.
