Earl drove a horse for me at Dresden and won with him that day. It was on Earl's 70th birthday and I remember announcer Gary Patterson remarking how Earl had given the younger drivers a driving lesson that day. He also made a point to wish him happy birthday on his Chatham radio show later that day when doing a recap of the day's races. I have no doubt that Earl will still be racing horses in heaven. Rest in peace, Earl.

Sincere condolences to the Hyatt family. Our thoughts and prayers are with you!

I send along my condolences to the Hyatt family . A few years ago I had the opportunity to chat with both Earl and Elsie as I devoted a Rewind to their horse Brother Hy ,a prolific winner back around the 1960's .
