Officials at Grand River Raceway and Woodstock Raceway have been forced to cancel the tracks' scheduled programs of live racing for Friday, June 1.

The Grand River cancellation has come due to safety concerns relating to extreme rain, which has come down in the area over the past two days.

Via release, GRR officials have stated that although the Drag Race portion of the Tri-Pride Night At The Races event has been cancelled, the dinner and penny auction in the ticketed event are still a go. In addition, guests will be treated to a drag show at 7:00 p.m. in the Captain’s Quarters Dining Room.

Grand River's next scheduled card of live racing is Monday, June 4. To view the entries, click here.

Officials at Woodstock Raceway has also informed Trot Insider that they have been forced to cancel the track's card of racing that had been scheduled for Friday at the racetrack due to the same weather.
