Officials with Horse Racing New Brunswick have announced that the association will pay a $50 hook-up fee to all overnight horses that race at Exhibition Park Raceway and Woodstock Raceway this season.
This fee will be paid in cash on race day to the trainers of the horses racing in overnight events on each race day.
The hook-up fee is in addition to the purse money earned which will be paid by the Atlantic Provinces Harness Racing Commission (APHRC) this season.
All purse cheques, stake races and overnight races are paid by cheque through the mail by the APHRC.
