EPR Entry/Qualifying Information

Officials with Horse Racing New Brunswick have released information in regard to the entry of horses for Exhibition Park Raceway's upcoming qualifying sessions, which will be taking place prior to the track's season-opening card on June 6.

Standardbred Canada recently launched Self-Serve 2.0, the upgraded and improved online entry program for SC member trainers. All trainers that are SC members in good standing can have free access to SC’s Self-Serve program to enter horses electronically as soon as condition sheets are made available from the race office.

To access the SC Self-Serve you must have a GMail account. If you don’t have a GMail account, click here to create one. If you have a GMail account and are ready to sign up for Self-Serve, click here. The program is mobile-friendly, allowing trainers to enter horses from smartphones, tablets and laptops or desktop computers.

Horse Racing New Brunswick is encouraging members to use the online entry as much as possible.

Trainers looking to enter their horses to race at Exhibition Park Raceway can also contact volunteer Ashley Johnston at 506-721-9438, but only during designated draw times.

Draw times for the upcoming EPR qualifiers are listed below.

◈ Thursday, May 28 (between 9 a.m. and 12 noon) for Saturday, May 30

◈ Monday, June 1 (between 9 a.m. and 12 noon) for Tuesday, June 2

The Saturday, May 30 session is expected to get underway at 12:00 noon, while the Tuesday, June 2 session is expected to kick off at 6:00 p.m.

Horse Racing New Brunswick has stated that race-day procedures will be distributed to out of town horsepeople upon their arrival. Additionally, designated shedrows will be available to maintain social distancing

A reminder to horsepeople that all Standardbred Canada paperwork must be in order, as field reps will not be present, but will be working remotely. Additionally, all participants must be up to date with NBSBOA memberships prior to the June 6 draw. Trainers will be expected to submit personnel rosters on qualifying days for opening day June 6.
