The field is now set and the draw is now complete for Friday's $150,000 Molson Pace Invitational at The Raceway at the Western Fair District.
One of the previously announced horses slated to compete, Polak A, has been withdrawn. The pacer was set to make his Canadian debut on Saturday night at Mohawk Racetrack but was scratched. That change doesn't diminish the star-studded field assembled, with all eight invites doled out and now accepted.
The post position draw was conducted earlier this evening at The Raceway in London during the pre-game show. Local CTV Sports Anchor, Brent Lale, joined the broadcast team in studio to perform the duties.
Defending champion State Treasurer will start from the trailing post eight behind recent Confederation Cup winner All Bets Off who drew the coveted rail position. All Bets Off will be handled by Matt Kakaley while Chris Christoforou will once again be up behind State Treasurer.
Here's the complete field for Friday's Molson Pace (in post order, with listed drivers):
1. All Bets Off (Matt Kakaley)
2. Lucan Hanover (Trevor Henry)
3. P H Super Cam (Jason Bartlett)
4. Night Pro (Ronnie Wrenn Jr.)
5. Evenin Of Pleasure (Sylvain Filion)
6. Duc Dorleans (Dan Dube)
7. Lets Drink On It (Billy Davis Jr.)
8. State Treasurer (Chris Christoforou)
The Molson Pace will go as the final race on this Friday night’s 12-race program at the London oval. The powerful undercard will feature Ontario Sires Stakes Gold divisions, a quartet of City of London Series finals and classes for Preferred pacers.

How bad has the luck been for
How bad has the luck been for the connections of lets drink on it. They draw the dead outside for the big race in flamboro, now they draw the dead outside for this race. When you draw the outside post on a half mile track unless you totally lay over the field you are beaten before the word go is given. It was nice to see the connections of the horse give the drive once again to Billy Davis jr, in the elimination race at flamboro he gave the horse a really good drive but then had the misfortune of drawing the outside pp for the final.
All Bets Off is sharp and
All Bets Off is sharp and will win easily.
