ORC Rules On NHA, Aquilina, Barkley

On Thursday, May 24, the Ontario Racing Commission released its rulings in regard to appeals by the Northern Horsemen's Association, and horsemen Richard Aquilina and Jeff Barkley.

In regard to the NHA appeal, which had to do with the scheduling of race dates, the ORC Panel ruled against the appeal. A copy of the official ruling can be accessed by clicking here.

In regard to the appeal of horseman Richard Aquilina, which was in relation to licensing, the ORC denied the appeal. A copy of the official ruling can be accessed by clicking here.

In regard to the appeal of horseman Jeff Barkley, who was going through the process of re-applying for an ORC license, the commission ruled that conditions and guidelines be put in place on his license. A copy of the official ruling can be accessed by clicking here.
