Officials with Horse Racing New Brunswick have issued information regarding upcoming qualifiers, a paddock meeting, and where to call for race-day updates and track conditions.
Exhibition Park Early Qualifiers and Notice of Paddock Meeting
The paddock meeting with the Maritime Provinces Harness Racing Commission judges will be held at 11:00 a.m. at Exhibition Park Raceway in Saint John on May 25. As a result, the qualifiers will be held earlier than normal at 10:30 a.m. All horsemen are encouraged to attend the paddock meeting.
Exhibition Park calling for Heavy Rain
Due to the pending weekend weather forecast of heavy rain for the region, Horse Racing New Brunswick officials would remind all participants to contact the Saint John race office at 506-636-6927 for updates on track and race conditions. The decision to postpone the races will be made early Saturday morning. In case of postponement, the MPHRC has approved the race card going at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 26, weather permitting.
