With the new health and safety restrictions around limiting the number of horses and people at the track at any one time, Woodbine Entertainment is strongly encouraging all horsepeople to use Standardbred Canada's online Self-Serve entry system to enter horses to qualify and to race.

To access the SC Self-Serve you must have a GMail account. If you don’t have a GMail account, click here to create one. If you have a GMail account and are ready to sign up for Self-Serve, click here.

If you have a GMail account and are ready to sign up for Self-Serve, click here. Please be advised that it can take up to two business days to be authorized to use Self-Serve once you register.

If you have registered and previously used Self-Serve, you’ll want to sign in, take a look at the upgrades, and get your Stable of Horses set up.

“It’s extremely important that we have the co-operation of trainers to sign up for SC’s Self Serve program so they can get their horses entered,” said Bill McLinchey, Director of Standardbred Racing, Woodbine Mohawk Park. “We want to ensure that we can get the horses qualified and ready to race in a timely fashion, now that we have the green light from the province. The race office is now open so people can start entering horses right away.”

Woodbine Mohawk Park requests all entries for qualifiers (to be held on May 28, 29, June 1 & 2) in by noon on Friday, May 22. Click here to view the condition sheet. The AGCO announced several rule amendments on May 20, including a qualifying rule:

An amendment has been made to reduce the number of horses that are required to qualify. Any horse that has a clean charted line between the timeframe of February 1, 2020 through March 19, 2020 will not be required to qualify upon the restart of racing, provided that the horse races within the first 60 days following the restart of racing. Trainers are strongly encouraged to sign up for SC’s Self-Serve online entry account and set up their stables in advance of these dates.

In early January, SC launched the Self-Serve program and since that time, SC has made the following upgrades, resulting in a more user friendly and efficient program:

  • Stable of Horses – features a list of horses so you can choose the horse you wish to enter. This shows the last start of the horse and current status. Horses that you train / own can be added or deleted any time.

  • Stable of Drivers / Trainers – Create your own roster of drivers to choose from in a drop down menu that appears anytime you choose a driver. Drivers can be added or deleted any time.

  • Stable of Tracks – Create your own roster of racetracks to enter your horses and see condition sheets for these specific racetracks. Racetracks can be added or deleted at any time.

Fast and mobile-friendly, SC’s Self Serve 2.0 is FREE to SC trainers in good standing. You have access seven days a week and can enter your horses from your smartphone, tablet, laptop or desktop computer.
