Hall of Fame driver Steve Condren has returned from his annual winter hiatus and will be back racing at Woodbine Racetrack tomorrow (Thursday, April 10).
The man in green and gold last participated in a pari-mutuel race in November, but is scheduled to be behind a pair of starters during Woodbine’s Thursday card.
Condren will steer Rockys First in Race 3 (PP6, 9-1) and Jukebox Jackie in Race 5 (PP9, 10-1).
A member of the Canadian Horse Racing Hall of Fame, Condren’s mounts have earned just under $111 million in purse earnings. The resident of Milton, Ont. has reached the winner’s circle 6,686 times over the course of his illustrious career.
