In May, Trot Magazine will profile innovative ideas that have the potential to elevate harness racing to new heights. And we are looking for your contributions.
What is the one big idea you have that will elevate Standardbred racing? You may focus on an idea aimed at increasing revenues, attendance, wagering, exposure, participation or investment in the industry.
Feel free to be as creative and out of the box as you like. There are no bad ideas.

I am of the opinion, TROT magazine is on the right track with soliciting ideas from its readers to improve the sport of Harness Racing. Canadian Harness Racing
track management is under the gun to develop the means for Harness Racing to stand on its own two feet. The Racino model has served its purpose and now is the time for Harness Racing to have its own type of Casino wagers based on a live Horserace as a means to provide Non Handicappers an easy way of making wagers and to provide excitement for the time between races. I have submitted such an idea to TROT magazine and wish all the Canadian Harness Racing people good fortune in finding ways to improve their sport for the betterment of all.
