Denis Filion Passes

From complications due to cancer, longtime horseman Denis Filion of Mirabel, Que. passed away on April 23, 2023 at the age of 79.

Filion enjoyed success both as a trainer and a driver, with trotting filly Nadine Angus being one of his top performers.

Denis is survived by his wife Fleurette, son Christian (Sylvie), daughter Ginette, granddaughter Brigitte. He's lovingly remembered by his surviving family, including siblings and many nephews and nieces.

At the deceased's request, there will be no funeral service. Cremation taken place.
