It has been reported that a horsewoman that finds employment at Keeneland in Versailles, Kentucky has returned to work at the Thoroughbred racing centre after having self-quarantined in light of testing positive for the coronavirus.
According to an article by the Lexington Herald-Leader, the stable worker, who is a hot walker, tested positive three weeks ago. The individual has recovered from the ailment and has since returned to work at the renowned racing showplace.
The article states that the hot walker works for a trainer that is part of the track’s resident barn population. It was also noted that the trainer has not sent any of his/her horses out of state to race.
Keeneland VP/COO Vince Gabbert has said that no Keeneland or training centre employees have tested positive and there have been no other cases..
