Adam Kaminski Passes

Longtime harness racing industry participant Adam Kaminski of Drayton, Ontario passed away on Wednesday, April 18 at the age of 83.

A lifelong member of Standardbred Canada, Adam had a strong faith and supported his local parish. He had a dedicated career for 35 years at C.I.B.C. and a passionate sports fan of the Toronto Blue Jays and the Toronto Maple Leafs.

Devoted husband, best friend, confidant and love of his life, Laura “Bernie” (Weller) Kaminski for 58 years. Loving father and grandfather of Michael and Linda Kaminski, Daniel and Deanna, Paul and Jan Kaminski, Grace and Olivia, and Tim and Lori Kaminski all of Brampton, Brother of Myrna Bunko and the late Matt Bunko Myrtle McGrath and the late Clifford McGrath, Albert and Diana Kaminski. Brother-in-law of Shirley Weller and the late Alfred Weller, Dora Weller and the late Norm Weller, Paul and Emily Weller and Aarne Saikkonen and the late Fay Saikkonen. Predeceased by two sisters Matilda Prytula and the late Steve Prytula and Bertha Wozniak and the late Joe Wozniak as well as sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law Peggy and Hans Klar, Kay and Gord Ridd, Mary and Doug Grist. Fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews and friends.

The family will receive friends at the Heritage Funeral Home, Drayton on Sunday, April 22, 2018 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. A funeral mass will be celebrated in St. Martin of Tours Roman Catholic Church, Drayton on Monday, April 23, 2018 at 11:00 a.m.

Parish Prayers will be recited in the Funeral Home on Sunday evening at 6:30 p.m. Interment in Drayton Cemetery

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Hamilton Health Sciences Foundation.
