April Stakes Payments Due

Trot Insider has accumulated all of the releases that have been received in regard to stakes payments which are coming due in or around April 15

.

Standardbred Canada's April 15 Stakes Notice

Standardbred Canada would like to remind owners/trainers that stakes payments are due on or before Sunday, April 15, 2012.

Stakes payments can be paid with a credit card using SC Stakes Online. A video tutorial is available to help you get started.

A generic stake form can be used to submit payments by mail. It can be located by clicking here.

Due to April 15 falling on a weekend, envelopes must be clearly post-marked on or before April 16 to be accepted, despite inadequacies of the postal system.

WEG April 16 Stakes Payments Notice

The Woodbine Entertainment Group has announced that Monday, April 16 is the deadline for sustaining payments that are due for the circuit’s major stakes events.

More detailed information can be obtained by clicking here.

Payments being mailed must have envelopes clearly post-marked no later than the said due date or payments will not be accepted. Registered mail is recommended.

April 15 Deadline Looms For Tioga Late Closers

Nominations for Tioga Downs' 2012 Late Closing program are due this month.

Recognizing that the April 15 deadline falls on a Sunday, those with postmarks up to and including April 17 will be accepted. The nomination form is available here.

NJSS Sustaining Payments Due April 15

April 15 is last chance for New Jersey-sired two-year-old and three-year-old pacers and trotters to be kept eligible to all 2012 NJ Sire Stakes pari-mutuel racing programs.

The NJSS Premier Division is scheduled to begin in May for three-year-olds at the Meadowlands Racetrack. The two-year-old Premier Division will start in July. The Green Acres Division for two and three-year-olds will take place from August through October at Freehold Raceway.

Horse owners are reminded that the April 15 second sustaining payments this year are $500 for both two and three-year-olds. Also due are $150 Green Acres Division payments for two-and three-year-olds. The second sustaining payments must be made in order to keep horses eligible for all 2012 NJSS races.

NJSS also notes that horse owners are encouraged to use certified mail and that no billing notices will be sent and no late payments will be accepted.

Cheques should be made payable in U. S. funds to NJSS, P.O. Box 330, Trenton, NJ 08625.
