The Ontario Racing Commission has ruled that it will continue to hold the purse monies which were earned by the Isaac Waxman-owned horses that were transferred during his stay from suspension which came due to his 'egregious conduct' at Kawartha Downs
in early February, 2011.
Having had the full hearing, and having both sides present on March 23 at the Ontario Superior Court in Hamilton, Ont., that court has determined that its injunction should not have been granted in the first place.
Waxman's contempt motion against the ORC was dismissed as well.
The purse monies which were earned by the horses that Isaac Waxman was transferring during the injunction will continue to be held pending his appeal hearing at the ORC on April 15.
Attached is a copy of the court decision regarding Isaac Waxman's injunction that was previously granted.
