Bill Napier, longtime executive director of the Kentucky Harness Horsemen’s Association, passed away Friday, March 19 at the age of 63
.
Napier fought a lengthy bout with pancreatic cancer. The former Lexington detective had headed the Kentucky horsemen’s association for more than 20 years.
Visitation took place yesterday at Clark Legacy Center in Nicholasville, Kentucky. The funeral took place this morning at 11:00.
