Pompano Still To Race Sunday

Published: March 14, 2020 12:53 pm EDT

Pompano Park will still race on Sunday, March 15 but with updated stipulations.

Due to the Covid-19 Cirus (Coronavirus), Pompano Park is limiting access to the barn area and paddock through Gate-5 to essential personnel only. This includes licensed trainers, drivers, caretakers, veterinarians, farriers (blacksmiths) and Tack and Feed Supply vendors.

Horse transportation vehicles arriving from out-of-State MUST contact the race office for entry approval prior to arrival at Pompano Park.

We are looking to provide a safe, secure environment free from the Covid-19 (Coronavirus).

Individuals deemed high risk--or any individual arriving from high risk areas--will be required to be quarantined for a period of 14 days prior to entry to the barn area or paddock.

As mentioned in a prior release, non-essential personnel and owners will not be allowed in the paddock, however, the grandstand and simulcasting areas will be open.
