Trot Insider has learned that Ron Turcotte, Sr. passed away yesterday morning (Thursday, March 12) when he
was training on the track at Gateway Farm in New Jersey.
The horseman was 76 at the time of his passing.
A short memorial funeral will take place Sunday, March 15 from 2:00 - 6:00 p.m. at Higgins, located at 20 Center Rd., Freehold, NJ.
The family has requested that in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Standardbred Retirement Foundation.
