“Wearing o’ the green” is a popular St. Patrick’s Day tradition, and racegoers at The Meadows on Tuesday, March 17 will be able to enjoy a number of promotions in line with the holiday.
The Meadows Standardbred Owners Association (MSOA) will present a free race program to all patrons wearing green on St. Patrick’s Day. The holiday card will feature other MSOA-sponsored events, including:
• A raffle for a free berth in The Meadows Live Bankroll Handicapping Contest on March 20;
• A drawing for a $50 betting voucher each time a driver with green in his colours wins a race. Among notable Meadows-based drivers wearing green are Mike Wilder, Wilbur Yoder, Kyle Bolon, Aaron Johnston and Shawn Johnston.
