For Monday’s Presidents’ Day, Yonkers Raceway’s Pick 5 offers both a $10,000 guaranteed pool spiced up with a carryover of $2,642.80. The latter was a result of no one waltzing away with Saturday night’s big prize.
The Pick 5 is a 50-cent base wager offered on races five through nine nightly. It has no consolation payoff, meaning if no one selects all five winners, the entire pool (minus takeout) moves to the next racing program.
The Pick 5 offers a $10,000 regular guaranteed pool every Monday and Tuesday (in conjunction with the US Trotting Association’s Strategic Wagering Program), with program pages for those days available for perusal at yonkersraceway.com.
