Believe it Mike. You must have no idea who George Teague is!!
Congratulations, WIJI, I was
Congratulations, WIJI, I was very, very wrong about you. WIJI got away second and sat behind Larry Karr, tipped and assumed command at the 3/4 mile mark, which was timed in 1:23.2, and coasted through a 27.3 final quarter to win in 1:51 flat. He made it look easy. Definitely the best that he's looked since he started his comeback. He paid $7.60 to win as the 5-2 co-favorite. If this continues, maybe we'll see him in The Levy this spring after all.
I cannot believe that WIJI is
I cannot believe that WIJI is entered in the Open again this week, but what's even more baffling is that he's the morning line favorite! His 2 most recent starts were also in the Open at Dover, and in both races, he finished next to last. On Dec. 12, he nearly went offstride, and a week later, he quit badly after leading at the half. His 7 opponents on Thursday have had their pictures taken in the winner's circle 57 times this year and earned a collective $850,000 in 2019. WIJI hasn't finished in the money in more than 3 months; in fact, he hasn't even earned a check since then. And he's the favorite??!!

to be honest... I cannot
to be honest...
I cannot believe he is entered anywhere.
Should be retired - very sad.
