The Ontario Racing Commission has announced that three tracks have applied for race date variances and post time amendments for 2015 racing schedules.
Fort Erie Live Racing Consortium is requesting approval for a variance of the race date schedule at Fort Erie Racetrack (Fort Erie). Grand River Agricultural Society is requesting approval for a variance of the race date schedule at Grand River Raceway (Grand River). The WFA Raceway Corporation is requesting approval for a variance of the race date schedule at The Raceway at Western Fair District (Western Fair).
The Ontario Racing Commission (ORC) is circulating these applications for amendments to the approved race date schedule and will receive comments on the applications from interested industry participants before making its decision on the application. Copies of the application and business case to support these changes are included with this Notice.
The Ontario Racing Commission approves racetracks’ live and simulcast dates. Amendments to this annual approved schedule of dates and post times are made by application to the Executive Director. A post time change of more than 30 minutes must be approved by the Commission.
