Standardbred Canada is pleased to announce that Red Shores Racetrack and Casino at the Charlottetown Driving Park in Prince Edward Island will host an O’Brien Awards VIP Gala in Top of the Park on Sunday, Jan. 31, 2021, in conjunction with the 2020 Virtual O’Brien Awards Gala.
Join Red Shores for this Boots & Bling themed event starting at 6 p.m. (AST) featuring dinner, live Red Carpet broadcast hits, interviews, special guests and viewing of the Virtual O’Brien Awards Gala, live from Toronto.
“We are really excited to partner with SC and host this event,” said Lee Drake, Manager of Racing, Brands and Broadcast. “The O’Brien Awards, named for Islander and Hall of Famer Joe O’Brien, hold a special place in our hearts, and we look forward to celebrating our Canadian champions with SC members and racing fans across the country on Jan. 31.”
With the recent announcement of their executive chef, Andrew Smith, being awarded Chef of the Year, guests who attend the VIP Gala are sure to be in for a feast fit for a king.
Tickets are $45 which includes a three-course meal, one glass of wine, taxes, and gratuities. A limited number of seats are available for the Gala and reservations can be made by contacting Top of the Park at 902-620-4264.
The virtual O’Brien Awards Gala will be video streamed on standardbredcanada.ca on Sunday, January 31 from 7 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. (EST)
