The card of harness racing slated for Saturday, Dec. 21 at Red Shores Charlottetown has been cancelled due to an impending winter storm.
An area of low pressure is expected to travel up the eastern seaboard and track south of Nova Scotia on Saturday bringing snow to the island on Friday, Dec. 20 and into Saturday.
The card has been tentatively rescheduled to Sunday, Dec. 22 with a first post time of 12:30 p.m. Red Shores is still waiting for all final approvals as of Friday afternoon.
The card will feature the third leg of the Joe and Steven MacRae Memorial Fall Series, presented by MacRae Backhoe and Trucking.
