It has been announced that Pompano Park will be offering a guaranteed pool on one of its exotic wagers on Monday (Dec. 17).
There were no winning tickets out on the Pompano Pick 5 on Sunday night, which has resulted in a $3,016 carryover into the Monday night wager.
Track officials, in conjunction with the USTA’s Strategic Wagering Program, have added an ‘instant guarantee’ of $15,000 for the total pool on Monday.
The Pick 5 begins on the first race of each card and offers a 50-cent minimum.
Live racing continues at Pompano five nights per week, with first post at 7:20 p.m. Sunday through Thursday.
There will be no live racing December 24 and 25.
