Horsepeople are reminded that Hawthorne Race Course stall applications for 2016 are due by December 1.
Stall applications can be found be on the Hawthorne website (hawthorneracecourse.com). Completed applications can be faxed to Jim Miller at 708-780-3727. They can also be emailed to [email protected] or mailed to Jim Miller c/o Hawthorne Race Course, 3501 S. Laramie, Cicero, IL 60804.
The 2016 harness racing season is scheduled to kick off its ‘winter’ meet on Friday, January 8 and goes through Saturday, February 6. A ‘summer’ harness meet is scheduled to start on May 6 and run through September 25. Racing is scheduled to be conducted five nights a week, Wednesday through Sunday.
