Description:
This position demands flexibility to cope with changing priorities and deadlines.
Education:
Minimum Grade 12 education in the French school system - Post Secondary education is preferred.
Technical Skills:
Intermediate working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
Personal Skills:
The ideal candidate for this role will have excellent communication (oral & written) in French and English along with an excellent telephone manner and exemplary customer service skills. He/she must be mature with high standards of professionalism and strong organizational skills with good attention to detail.
Experience:
Industry experience is a definite asset.
Qualifications:

- Results-oriented, self-motivated, enthusiastic and resourceful
- Ability to work in fast paced environment
- Detail oriented with excellent time management skills
- Valid driver licence
Responsibilities (include but are limited to):
- Occasionally work as a substitute field rep at one of the Ontario race tracks
- Process foal applications, memberships, licences, stable registrations, and transfers/claims
- Data entry of race results, eligibility fees, Coggins’ tests
- Data entry of fees to membership accounts from accounting journals
- Invoice for horse or member related fees
- Respond to telephone and email inquiries
- Communicating by letter with applicants regarding problems with foal registrations, membership and licensing applications, transfers of ownership, etc.
- Scan, index and quality control electronic imaging of all documents (member/horse/track)
- Cover receptionist duties when required
- Must be available to work at all SC horse sales
- Must be available to work occasional weekends
- Must be able to work collaboratively with other staff members
