E L Ideal, who is heading into Saturday off of a six and a quarter-length score last week, will take on Sky Castles, a winner of two in a row, in the colt and gelding trot. The filly trot will pit Creature Of Habit against Senorita Rita, and both are heading in having won two straight.
In the filly pace, Rocknificent and Hen Party will renew their rivalry (both have won two in a row). When the pair met on October 22, it was Rocknificent that prevailed by just a neck.
Chief Mate (1:50.4) and Ideal Perception (1:51.3), who both established lifetime bests while capturing their respective final preliminaries, headline male pace.
Live racing takes place this Friday and Saturday at the Meadowlands. Post time will be at 7:15 p.m.
