The PEI Harness Racing Industry Association (PEIHRIA) has announced two fall series that will be held at the Charlottetown Driving Park in November 2021.
These series will be geared towards horses that are four years old and younger, and are non-winners of $3,000 and $5,000 in 2021 as of Tuesday, Nov. 2.
The first will be called the PEIHRIA Autumn Series and will consist of two legs in divisional format ($4,000 per division) to be held on Saturday, Nov. 6 and Saturday, Nov. 13. This series will be for horses that are non-winners of $3,000 in 2021, and have raced a minimum of 10 starts on P.E.I. in 2021.
The second series will be called the PEIHRIA Fall Challenge Series and will consist of two legs in divisional format ($5,000 per division) held on Saturday, Nov. 6 and Saturday, Nov. 13. This series will be for horses that are four years old and younger that are non-winners of $5,000 in 2021, and have raced a minimum of 10 starts on P.E.I. in 2021.
Declarations for both series will be due at 9 a.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 2.
