Meridian Farms is proud to sponsor a $3,500 claiming event for horses and mares named in honour of the late David Rose. The trainer-driver passed away earlier this year after a battle with cancer.
The first leg of the David Rose Memorial will be raced October 28 at Red Shores Summerside followed by a second leg November 4 at Red Shores at the Charlottetown Driving Park.
The consolation ($1,500, added) and final ($6,000, added) take place on November 11 in Charlottetown.
The nomination fee is $25 and is due on October 22, 2012.
