Trot Insider has learned that a benefit is currently in its infancy stages for 68-year-old Parkhill, Ont. horseman Fred Sadler who has recently had part of a leg amputated
.
The procedure was necessary for the longtime horseman as a result of a racing incident which occurred last year. Sadler had his left leg amputated just below his left knee.
Proceeds from the benefit will go towards the purchase of a prosthetic leg for the horseman.
Please join Standardbred Canada in sending send the best of wishes to Sadler.
Trot Insider will provide an update on the benefit details when they are made available.
