Breeders Crown Dining Options Released

Dining reservations are now being taken for Breeders Crown eliminations weekend, Oct. 22-23, and Breeders Crown finals weekend, Oct. 29-30, at The Meadowlands.

Friday, Oct. 22, and Friday, Oct. 29, have a 6:20 p.m. post time, while Saturday, Oct. 23, and Saturday, Oct. 30, have a special 12 noon post.

For eliminations weekend, Pink Restaurant has fall-themed buffet with a variety of salads, a carving station and desserts. The menu features a roasted acorn squash salad, butternut squash bisque, roasted ribeye, chicken marsala with wild mushrooms, pan-seared salmon with pumpkin cilantro sauce, pasta primavera, and roasted spicy carrots with brown sugar. A variety of pies, including apple, pecan and pumpkin, round out dessert.

Friday’s cost is $50 per person plus tax and gratuity, while Saturday’s menu is $55 per person plus tax and gratuity. Saturday’s menu also includes fresh fruit, quiche and bagels so guests can enjoy brunch during the early post time.

Pink Restaurant’s buffet on finals weekend features a raw bar with jumbo shrimp, crab claws, oysters and Maine lobster tails. Guests can also dine on roasted prime rib, chicken cacciatore, Atlantic cod topped with bruschetta, stuffed shells and roasted Brussels sprouts with maple syrup.

Friday’s menu is $70 per person plus tax and gratuity and Saturday’s is $75 plus tax and gratuity. With the 12 noon post on Oct. 30, Saturday’s menu also includes brunch offerings including quiche, omelettes made to order and crispy bacon.

Guests looking for a la carte dining can enjoy The Meadowlands' second-floor Lounge, which is the place to be to watch and wager all the racing and day’s sports action. Guests can dine on delicious Victory Sports Bar fare, including wings, burgers, lobster mac and cheese, salads, wraps and more. The ticket cost is a food credit that will be applied to the food and beverage bill. Tax and gratuity are not included in this credit and are additional.
