Officials with Dover Downs have announced that the track has inaugurated several new additions to its daily wagering format.
Beginning with the draw for next Monday’s program (January 16), Dover Downs will change the Early Pick 4 (Superfecta) to become a fifty-cent ($.50) wager. In addition to changing the base price, an additional $.50 Pick 4 will be added and scheduled for Race 12 through 15.
Two Pick 3s will also be added – the first starting in Race 2, the latter beginning with Race 13. Finally, a Superfecta is being added to Race 14.
As part of the changes, Dover Downs will be carding Race 12 and Race 14 with nine horses.
All these changes will be offered during the Monday through Thursday racing programs.
