Standardbred horseman Roger Ramage passed away suddenly at home with his loving wife by his side on Sunday, January 6 at the age of 66 after a long and brave battle with cancer.
Roger loved and was greatly loved by his children Saagen (Morgan), Kerry (Roger) and Karen (Simon). Roger adored his five grandchildren Siobhan (Tyler), Owen, Lauren, Hannah and Isla and his beloved best friend, Bear.
Dear brother to Austin (Audrey) and Betty and brother-in-law of Annalee, Mervyn and Ralph. Predeceased by his brother Russell and sisters Laura and Edythe. Cherished uncle of many nieces and nephews.
Roger was involved in the racing community for over 50 years, which was his passion and love.
Friends and family will be received at the Jack & Thompson Funeral Home, Shelburne on Wednesday, January 9 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Funeral service will take place in the funeral home chapel on Thursday, January 10 at 11:00 a.m.
