MGM Northfield Park has announced a $25,000 guaranteed Pick 5 total pool for Saturday’s (January 9) race card. Beginning in Race 6, the $25,000 guarantee includes a carryover of $6,016.
The guarantee is being offered at part of the Strategic Wagering Program through the United States Trotting Association.
The evening’s eighth race starts the 50¢ (non-jackpot) Pick 6 offering a $4,891 carryover.
Northfield’s Pick 3s, Pick 4s, Pick 5, Pick 6 and 20¢ Super High Five offer a reduced take-out rate of just 14%.
Saturday’s post time is 4:20 p.m.
