Officials with Kawartha Downs have announced details for a horsepersons' meeting early next month.
A Kawartha Downs horsepersons meeting will be held on Sunday, Feb. 2, 2025, at 1:30 p.m. in the Kawartha Downs Grandstand on the second floor. Attendees should use the horsepersons' entrance at the north end of the building for entry.
The meeting will cover the following items:
- Progress updates on facility and future developments
- Updates and changes for the racing season
- Community involvement initiatives
- Feedback and constructive discussion from local horsepeople on additional improvements
Please note the meeting will NOT be live streamed at this time.
All horsepeople are welcome, but officials are requesting that those planning to attend RSVP at this link to ensure enough light refreshments are available.
