Starting January 15, the Meadowlands Pick Four pool will be guaranteed at $75,000 on Saturdays.
Offered nightly on races six through nine, the Pick Four features a low 15 percent takeout and high return rate. The Pick Four pool averaged $76,662 per card with an average payoff of $4,313 in 2010. Over 50 percent of the time, the Pick Four returned more than $1,000. The wager paid a record $70,446 on March 26, 2010.
David Miller In The Sulky Friday
David Miller will be the featured guest on Meadowlands Racetrack's Friday pre-card television broadcast.
Miller will discuss his drives for the Friday night card of harness racing, which include favourite Laughandbehappy in the $32,000 mares open and Canadian invader Lucky Terror in the opening round of the Clyde Hirt. Fans can e-mail questions for The Buckeye to answer to [email protected].
