This is an opportunity for SC members and fans to share their best wishes and good luck greetings with the racing community who will be watching the O’Brien Awards on January 31. The deadline for submissions is Friday, January 15, 2021.
A collection of videotaped messages will be assembled in a montage that will be shown on standardbredcanada.ca a few days in advance of the Awards and from 6:30 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. on January 31, to lead into the awards show. The Video Greetings Reel is sponsored by The Hambletonian Society. Here is an example of some video greetings we featured in last year’s Hallmark Greetings Video Collection.
Here’s how to record your video greeting:

Record the video horizontally on your smartphone or iPad

Make sure you have a quiet spot to record your video with proper lighting and no background noise.

Please keep the videos to 45 seconds maximum.

Play your video before you send it to make sure it sounds and looks OK.

Send in a direct Facebook Message to the Standardbred Canada page or

Send via email to [email protected]
If the file is too large to email, you can send it through a large file sharing service like WeTransfer.
