MGM Northfield Park has announced a $25,000 guaranteed Pick 5 total pool for Tuesday’s (Jan. 12) race card. Beginning in Race 6, the $25,000 guarantee includes a carryover of $4,140.
The guarantee is being offered at part of the Strategic Wagering Program through the United States Trotting Association.
The evening’s eighth race starts the 50-cent (non-jackpot) Pick 6, offering a $2,045 carryover.
Northfield’s Pick 3s, Pick 4s, Pick 5, Pick 6 and 20-cent Super High Five offer a reduced take-out rate of just 14 percent.
