Goodnite Goodluck earned his second consecutive victory with a 1:55.3 effort in the $11,000 Open Pace at Buffalo Raceway on Saturday night (May 25).

The win was the sixth win this year for Goodnite Goodluck, a seven-year-old son of Bettors Delight trained by J.D. Perrin and owned by Mark Jakubik of West Seneca, New York.

Goodnite Goodluck ($3.80), driven by Kevin Cummings, took the lead from post four and set all the fractions in the race of :28.3, :58.2, and 1:27.2 to the three-quarter pole. A :28.1 last quarter-mile put the winner three-quarters of a length in front of second-place finisher Adelias Prince (Ray Fisher Jr.) at the wire. Fireyourguns (Jack Flanigen) came in third.

The $5,500 winner's share of the purse put Goodnite Goodluck’s seasonal earnings at $41,725 and lifetime bankroll at $264,112.

Cummings led all drivers with four wins on the card.
