Tuesday evening’s twelve-race card at Georgian Downs belonged to reinsman Scott Coulter thanks to a five-win performance which included a trip to victory lane in the featured $15,000 Preferred Trot with Ericskarri.

Ericskarri, who was making his debut following a claim for trainer Joe Cirasuola and owner Shirley Halas of Northville, MI, survived a first-over journey en route to winning the main event in a time of 1:56.3. Coulter guided the gelding to the decisive score over Lakefield and race favourite Holy Halibut.

It was the sixth win of the season for the nine-year-old son of Angus Hall, who is now a 36-time winner boasting a bankroll in excess of $600,000 to date.

Coulter, who took the last four races on the card, also took the checkered flag with Grace Seelster (1:56.1), Beeeyouuuuuu (1:54.4), Stir And Serve (1:57.4) and Passionate Terror (1:54.1).

The productive night at the office helped Coulter inch closer to the 400-win mark and the $3 million mark for the season. He currently sits with 394 victories and purse earnings in excess of $2.9 million in 2012. The career winner of 3,549 races has banked close to $24 million to date.
