Québec Regional Racing Circuit President Paul-André Lavigne today released the circuit's official 2011 schedule and unveiled the much anticipated new logo
.
"For those who did not attend the general meeting last Saturday, a change has been made to the St-Hugues race date from Sunday, June 26 to Saturday, June 25. Post time for all of the race dates is 1:00 p.m.," Lavigne said in the release.
Ten programs will be presented at 10 different Québec fair tracks. Racing will be returning to Pabos, Bonaventure, Nouvelle and Brôme and to a new fair track location owned by the Allard family in St-Esprit. Thanks to the financial support of the Club Jockey du Québec, purses totalling $120,000 will be offered to the participants. Preference will be given to Québec-bred horses.
More information regarding conditions and entries will be announced over the course of the next few weeks. Those that wish to follow the circuit are invited to keep tabs on everything at circuitregional.com.
