The final Harrisburg Mixed Sale session is taking place today (Friday, Nov. 9) at the PA Farm Show Complex in Pennsylvania, as Hip Nos. 1,170 through 1,597 are scheduled to pass through the sales ring.
Friday's session will get underway at 10 a.m.

The mixed sale follows the 2018 Harrisburg Yearling Sale, which took place from Monday (Nov. 5) to Wednesday (Nov. 7) and was comprised of three sessions.
The three combined yearling sessions saw 830 yearlings sold for $35.42 million, with an average purchase price of $42,675. The number represented a 4.9 per cent increase in gross sales from the 2017 yearling sale and a 7.6 per cent increase in the average sale price per horse.
